4-H Base Camps

  June 14-16, 2017

Enjoy an outdoor adventure at the 2017 4-H Base Camps.  4-H members will enjoy fellowship with new friends from Western Wisconsin while under the care of high school aged 4-H youth leaders who have been screened and trained. Campers will also have fun participating in teamwork activities with the staff of volunteers, summer interns, nurses and UW‑Extension 4-H Agents. First come, first reserved basis.

 

4-H Explorers Base Camp

Open to campers in 3rd & 4th grades

(2016-2017 school year)

4-H Base Camp 1 features:

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Nature Activities
  • Music, Drama
  • Interactive Games
  • Swimming & Campfires
  • Archery & Air Rifle
  • Cabin Time to Make New Friends
  • Lots of fun!

4-H Navigators Base Camp

Open to campers in 5th & 6th grades

(2016-2017 school year)

4-H Base Camp 2 features:

  • Teambuilding Games
  • Climbing Wall & Obstacle Course
  • Variety of Team Sports
  • Canoe Trip & Night Swim
  • Archery & Air Rifle
  • Special Campfires
  • Extra Social Time to Meet New Friends
  • Unique Leadership Activities!

 

4-H Outpost Adventurers Camp, June 14-16, 2017

Open to campers in 7th & 8th grades (2016-2017 school year)

 

Enjoy a ‘real’ camping adventure with the opportunity to experience nature and learn new skills related to the outdoors!  There is plenty of time to engage in fellowship with teens from Western Wisconsin. Campers will also have fun participating in teamwork activities with the staff of volunteers, summer interns, nurses and UW‑Extension 4-H Agents. This will include overnights at William O’Brien State Park

4-H Outpost Adventure features:

Camp Kinnissippewa 4-H Registration


 

This year we will be using 4HOnline to register for camp. Register now to ensure your spot. Registrations are handled on the first come, first serve basis.

 

  • Log into your family account at http://wi.4honline.com and you will find your family’s member list.
  • Scroll to the bottom and find the section titled “Register a Member in an Event”.
  • Select the name of the member you want to register.
  • Then select the 4-H Camp Kinnissippewa 2017 event.
  • A series of boxes will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click on the “Register” button for the desired position at Camp Kinnissippewa (4‑H Camper- Base Camp, 4-H Camp Counselor, 4-H Camper-Outpost).

 

REGISTERING FOR THE EVENT

On the next screen you will be asked for specific information related to the event. This may include swimming level, canoeing level, bus pick up/drop off location, etc. Any required fields are in bold.

  • Click on the “Continue >>” button. If you missed any required fields, you will get an error message and the missing fields will be highlighted.
  • Verify your choices and click on the “Check Out >>” button.
  • On the Payment screen, the only selection is County/Club 4-H Check. Click on the “Select Payment Method” button. The payment shows as a fee of $120 but for Buffalo County the 4-H Leaders Association contributes $20. The total amount due is then $100/per camper.
  • On the Confirm screen, check the box agreeing to the Pay by Computer Terms and Conditions. Click the “Confirm Order” button. On the Finish screen, you can print your entry.

 

Then you need to mail your payment to Buffalo County UW-Extension.
