APRIL-            2^nd  4-H Tack Swap & Horse Expo 9am-3pm Barron, WI Community Center

9^th& 10th Tack & Clothing Swap, Olmstead County 4-H Fairgrounds, Rochester, MN

12^th Wabasha Gerkin’s Horse Owners Workshop- check with them for details

15th-17th Midwest Horse Fair – Dane County Expo Center

29th-1st MN Horse Expo – MN State Fairgrounds

MAY -         1st -Project Activity- Driving Clinic: How to Start; 2-4pm David Fetting’s in Cochrane

7th – State Horse Bowl and Hippology Competitions; Wausau, WI

                        TBA– Loomis’ Tack and Horse Sale

                        20^th Pepin Arena Fun Shows begin every 3^rd Friday through August 19th

                        27th- 29th – High School Rodeo, Arcadia, near school grounds.

JUNE –            2nd      Loomis’ Wed. night Fun Shows starting June 2 through Sept. 1

11th & 12^th – MRA Little Britches Rodeo, Mondovi (liability signs donated by this project!)

22nd-   6:30 – 8 pm Enrollment forms Requirement/ Practice Night /Hunter Hack clinic with Bridget Liska at Midnight Riders Arena (MRA) Mondovi

TBA– Fun Show at Diamond W Ranch in Dodge, WI

29th – 6:30 –8 pm Practice Night at Midnight Riders Arena, Mondovi 

JULY –            1st – Area Animal Science Days, Clark County; see the state link for more details

4^th   Pony Rides 2 – 5 pm–  Buffalo City (parade at 1 pm helmets needed for those riding) Project Fundraiser—need reliable horses and workers for shifts!!

6th – RAINDATE if needed; 6:30 – 8 pm Practice Night MRA, Mondovi

13th – 6:30 – 8 pm Practice Night at MRA, Mondovi

20th – RAINDATE if needed; 6:30 – 8 pm Practice Night MRA, Mondovi

23rd B. County 4-H HORSE SHOW – Midnight Riders Arena 8:30 check-in & 9 am show starts; possible M.R.Tack Sale

AUGUST -      3rd 6-8 pm Fair Barn Set –up and Decorating

4^th-7th County Fair  — Fair Barn Duty and Pony Rides/ Requirement forms due

TBA– WWHSA show at Galesville

TBA – Western District Gymkhana, 8:30 am Pierce County Fairgrounds, Ellsworth – entry deadline is the 8th.

TBA – Sparta Champ Show (blue ribbon County fair earners qualify)

SEPTEMBER- 10^th WSHC Championship Challenge Horse Show 8am, Custer, WI

10th –11th Trail Dusters Ride – Alma, WI 608-685-3672  

                        15^th thru 18^th State 4-H Horse Expo/ Show – West Allis State Fair Park

24th – 25th Wagon Wheel Teamsters Ride – Alma, WI 608-626-2931 

OCTOBER – • 4-H Fall Trail Ride & potluck (2nd or 3rd weekend.)– End of Year Recognition and  Closing           

NOVEMBER – 1st – WI State Clinic Grant Application deadline.  $250 towards local clinic. 

11^th thru 13^th  – WI 4-H Horse Leader’s Conference; Oshkosh, and WI Horse   

 Association meeting.  (Great learning experience for teens and adults)
