Cheerful Workers 4-H Lends a Helping Hand to Local Business

On Sunday, May 7, Cheerful Workers 4-H club members got their ‘helping’ hands in the soil at  The Stone Barn in Nelson.   4-H members helped the local business get ready for their summer season by planting many herbs and flowers around the property. The Stone Barn wrote, “Wow, did we get a lot done. Thank you so much Cheerful Workers 4-H Club! You all did a fabulous job and we really appreciated the help!” By helping a local business, 4-H members practiced lifelong skills related to Ag literacy, or knowing where and how your food, like that of herbs, gets to your plate and how they contribute to the economy.
