Buffalo County Stream Improvement Project

Stream improvement begins with monitoring.  Aaron Olson, Buffalo County 2012 Conservation Intern together with Alma, CFC, Gilmanton and Mondovi Schools, and several families have been monitoring stream quality.  The Buffalo County NRCS Office will be continuing working with the cooperating partners on the monitoring project.

All data is entered into the

Joey Domine has developed a great Buffalo County Streams Resource as part of his Eagle Scout Project.  He has developed a spreadsheet that identifies all of the trout stream projects in the county including  the name of property owners, location (GPS location and map),  and type of improvements that were made.  In the near future he will also include a photo of the site.  Check out the map, I think you will find it very interesting.  THANKS Joey.  Let us know what you think by commenting on this site.  Click on the link below for some awesome information.
