4-H Horse leaders focus on skills at local clinic

The Buffalo and Pepin County 4-H Horse members gathered for a 4-H Horsemanship Clinic at Double H Arena near Mondovi, WI on Sunday, May 6, 2018. 4-H riders worked with two clinicians to strengthen skills in preparation for this year’s fair in July. Clinician Laura Windmiller instruction horse members in English while Tammy Olson was the clinician for Western. 4-H horse members had the opportunity to engage in experiential learning in western horsemanship, hunter horsemanship, showmanship, leads, leg yielding and sidepassing. There was also a hippology session available for part of the day. The clinic was coordinated by Buffalo County 4-H Horse Leaders Kelli Kryzsyton and Linda Fetting.
