4-H members from Buffalo, Pepin, Pierce and Trempealeau Counties engaged in outdoor educational experiences at 4-H Camp Kinnissippewa on the St. Croix River, June 25-27. The camp theme was upside down, inside out and backwards! Young people in grades 3-8 participated in cabin skits, archery, swimming, crafts, teambuilding, challenge course, science and nature. Youth leaders in high school were the 4-H camp counselors and cared for 4-H members in cabins and tents. Camp is an opportunity for campers and counselors to gain independence while building leadership skills and practicing effective communication. 4-H Camp Kinnissippewa ended with an upside down social with group dances and an exciting photo booth.
