Buffalo County 4-H Leaders Association has first set of youth and adult officers


On September 17, 2017 the Buffalo County 4-H Leaders Association adopted new bylaws that developed a true youth-adult partnership. Youth and adult leaders in Buffalo County 4-H are now officially meeting jointly. The Buffalo County 4-H Youth Leaders Council was dissolved in an effort to work together and better recognize youth voice. As a result of the action, youth and adult officers were elected for the first time. The inaugural officer team includes: (back) Austin George, Friends of Buffalo County 4-H Representative; Patty George, Vice President; Michele Loesel, Treasurer; Cara Lee Wiersgalla, President; Kaleb Kryzszton, Vice President; Stephanie Foust, Secretary; (front) Barbara Dittrich, Treasurer; Naomi Fogel, President; Sofia Sandberg and Julia Moats, Co-Secretaries.

Sofia Sandberg, Julia Moats and Josh Linse explained their U.S. Space Camp experience in Huntsville, Alabama.

Buffalo County delegates on the FIVE travel experience, Alan George and Hunter Guenther, encouraged other members to participate. They traveled for three days to Duluth.

Kaleb Kryzszton signs the dissolution papers to dissolve the Buffalo County 4-H Leaders Association.
