Exclusive Practices and Privilege Part of 4-H Leaders Discussion

Tough conversations are difficult sometimes, but almost always worth the time. The Buffalo County 4-H Leaders Association took part of their March meeting to start digging into policies and practices that create barriers for current members and underserved young people. Youth and adults took a privilege survey and discussed concepts surrounding intersectionality, inclusiveness and being exclusive in our approach. The leaders plan to continue to explore these topics and begin developing sustainable steps to address access issues.
