Hill & Hollow 4-H directs dollars, service to backpack meals program

4-H members in the Hill & Hollow Helping Hands 4-H club of Fountain City directed $500 to the backpack meals program at Cochrane-Fountain City school. The funds were given during a timeline that allowed the dollars to be matched in food pounds by Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire. The $500 was part of a Monsanto Fund grant members received earlier this year. 4-H members also packed 48 soup packs with all the ingredients needed for a healthy meal for students at their 4-H club meeting on November 12. Kayla Kazorowski, the C-FC senior who intiated the program last year, visited the Hill & Hollow members to answer their questions and show them support for their actions.
